Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Schlossberg... 2013

Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Furstentum 2021
A Historic Estate at the Heart of Alsace
The Weinbach estate is one of Alsace’s most treasured wineries. Founded in 1612 by Capuchin monks, it is named after the small "Weinbach" stream that runs through the property. Nestled in Kaysersberg at the foot of the majestic Schlossberg, the estate was acquired in 1898 by the Faller family, who have since elevated it to the highest ranks of Alsace winemaking. Today, Catherine Faller and her sons continue this legacy with an unwavering pursuit of excellence and a deep respect for nature.
Exceptional Terroirs Revealing the Purest Wines
The estate spans approximately 30 hectares, planted on some of Alsace’s most prestigious terroirs, including the Grand Cru Schlossberg, renowned for its granite soils that produce Rieslings of remarkable finesse and minerality. Other outstanding vineyard plots, such as Altenbourg and Furstentum, yield wines of unparalleled depth and aromatic complexity. Every cuvée precisely reflects the richness of Alsace’s diverse soils and the estate’s meticulous craftsmanship.
A Biodynamic Approach for Vibrant Wines
A pioneer in Alsace, Weinbach is fully committed to biodynamic viticulture, placing nature and soil health at the core of its philosophy. The vineyards are cultivated without chemicals, and careful soil management promotes biodiversity. Grapes are exclusively hand-harvested to ensure the finest selection. In the cellar, fermentations occur naturally with indigenous yeasts, and aging is conducted with minimal intervention to preserve the wines’ authentic terroir expression.
A Collection of Rare Elegance
Weinbach is renowned for its crystalline and expressive Rieslings, rich and complex Pinot Gris, and opulent, aromatic Gewurztraminer. The Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg embodies the pure mineral tension of its terroir, while the Gewurztraminer Altenbourg captivates with exotic fruit and spice aromas. Every wine is a masterpiece, where finesse and intensity blend in perfect harmony.
Weinbach, an Essential Name in Alsace
Thanks to its commitment to sustainable viticulture and uncompromising winemaking standards, Weinbach has become a benchmark in the world of Alsace wines. Featured on top gastronomic tables and sought after by collectors, its wines capture the very essence of Alsace’s greatest terroirs. Tasting a Weinbach wine is an invitation to discover an extraordinary expression of tradition and innovation.
